Cameron Ellis and Gina Hulog became Mr. and Mrs. Ellis at the gorgeous Scribner Bend Vineyard. The weather was perfect, and their bridal party even more perfect. They were so much fun to spend the afternoon with as Gina was getting ready and Cameron was putting on the final touches-all before the two would say their vows and proclaim their love in front of their beloved invited guests.
Gina's dress by Sparkle Bridal Couture was a lovely pick, and even lovelier as it was surrounded by the bridesmaids dresses. Her makeup had just been finished and the bride-to-be was looking flawless. She was just finishing a glass of champagne as we arrived, as Cameron and Gina's adorable pup Brody was running around full of excitement.
The guys were helping the groom-to-be with his tie and jacket before they posed for a few photos. These guys were dressed to impress in their grey suits, and definitely feeling good as they shared laughs and jokes obviously trying to keep Cameron's nerves away.
Back in the bungalow, the ladies continued getting ready, and helped Gina into her dress.
Within minutes, the ladies were having a photo session of their own. They were giggling and relaxed as they clanked glasses and looked absolutely stunning in their eggplant purple gowns.
They didn't want to have a first look, but couldn't imagine not at least exchanging a couple words before such an epic moment in their life. We decided to tease them and invited Cameron to the bungalow to say a couple words to the fiance that would now become his wife. They were absolutely adorable as we could see that it pained them not to look at each other, but they both had comforting words and told the other how much they loved the other. As their nerves seemed to begin melting away having comforted each other, the excitement was only building...
With the seats filled, and Gina's father ready to escort her down the aisle, it was time for a wedding!
The sun only had about an hour left before sunset, and there were so many birds in the sky above as everybody made their way down the aisle, all in an effort to usher in the beautiful bride.
And we can't forget to mention that as Ring Bearer, Brody perhaps had the most important job of all. And he did not disappoint.
Here comes the bride:
The ceremony had special and personalized moments throughout. From prayer readings, to lighting the unity candle, to including each of their mothers in a surprise rose ceremony-the tender moments felt intimate yet inclusive, as everybody anticipated the vows, rings, and of course, the kiss.
And just like that, we present to you Mr. and Mrs. Ellis!!!!
The sun was just in it's final moments before it hit the horizon, and we whisked the newlyweds away to get see their first sunset as man and wife. It was as if it had been made for just the two of them, and they looked as if they were the only two people in the world...
Family and friends were of course eager to be the first to wish congratulations as they hung around to pose for a few photos with the bride and groom.
Dinner was catered and served by Paesanos, the bar was open, and friends and family celebrated the entire evening. We absolutely fell in love with this adorable couple, and it was clear to see that we were not the only ones. During the toasts, the two couldn't stop laughing while moments of their lives were no longer private and secrets were told over glasses of champagne that were clanked after each speaker.
They looked incredibly, romantically in love as they danced their first dance together to Ed Sheeran's "Perfect".
They were followed by Gina's dance with dad, and then a dance for the groom with mom-before the floor would be opened up to all who wanted to dance the night away.
The night finished as one huge party! Guests had a fantastic time! The dance floor was never empty! The photo booth stayed busy, the Scribner wine was flowing, and the night finished with cake from Freeport Bakery.
You know-It's funny how sometimes people just know. Gina says she knew the first time she ever talked to Cameron that they would be having this day eventually. They met online-the same day she had made a profile. She says she deleted it the very next, because she knew she wouldn't need it anymore.
And she was right. She will never need it again. =)
Congratulations Cameron and Gina! We wish you happiness and love for as long as you both shall live...the two of you are definitely meant to be!
