It was just earlier this year that Stefanie was celebrating with Kristen after having graduated college from California State University Sacramento. Now there is something new to celebrate!
Stefanie and Kristen are engaged and planning their 2019 wedding date! They could not have looked happier as we met up where it all began-back in the Summer of 2009-at Royer Park in Roseville! The two first began their friendship as teammates on their high school softball team. Stefanie played shortstop, and Kristen was in left field.
When we asked more about their story, Kristen grinned and said that 'it was the classic Lifetime story-two people who had no idea they were falling for each other, until they had both fallen!'
We're so glad that they did, because they look fantastic together!
Not only did they look so natural and comfortable with each other in every photo, but they were definitely down for 'getting the shot'! When we saw the creek nearby, they had no hesitation about getting right into the middle of it! Kristen helped Stefanie down the rocky dirt path toward the water, after which they ventured across the rocks to get this great photo! They were so involved in each other that as Stefanie leaned back during the kiss, poor Kristen nearly fell in! Luckily, she only fell in with one foot, as Stefanie grabbed her to brace her from falling further...but they were troopers...no complaints...and still finished up with photos after!
The scene is so serene and beautiful though, we think it was worth it!
The signs and ideas that they brought along were fun to use and a great addition to their personalities! We definitely had a wonderful time capturing their celebratory engagement news, and cannot wait until their wedding next year!
