Pual and Dena got married on an ordinary day. But they took so much care and creativity with their beautiful wedding, that the day was far from ordinary. The spirit of love was in the air, and it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully produced. The outcome of which was an intimate family gathering and gorgeously prepared dinner for all to celebrate!
With the ceremony about to begin, Paul awaited his bride, as he stood with his sons-Jeremy and Noah, with anticipation. The beautiful strumming of guitars was heard, and Dena's daughter Zoe and niece Marika were a lovely prelude to the bride. As Dena walked toward Paul, you could actually hear him exhale, as though he had been waiting for her all his life. Once she approached, the two looked so pleased to be standing together, hands entwined, only minutes away from being husband and wife.
Surrounded by family and friends, Paul and Dena recited their vows and read love letters to each other. They exchanged rings and a kiss, and were pronounced man and wife. It was a simple, yet beautiful moment, made even more perfect having been in the persimmon orchard at the family home.
Their creativity was noticeable throughout the evening. The menu was amazing, and served in multiple courses, paired with only the perfect wines for each dish. The newlyweds gave a splendid and heartfelt toast to let everybody know they had been specifically chosen to be in attendance.
Daughter Zoe entertained, as she played the guitar and sang songs that she had carefully selected as a dedication to her mother's groom, Paul. The food was catered by Nomad of Sacramento, and guests were ecstatic as they feasted their eyes on each plate as it came out, and there was plenty of conversation, laughter and happiness as the dinner was served and enjoyed by all.
The cake was lovingly prepared by Paul's sister Lisa and was an elegant touch to end the evening. Honestly, we have had plenty of wedding cake, and this one was definitely the best tasting cake we have had to date!
As if everything hadn't been perfect enough, the evening concluded with plenty of dancing to live music. Guests were happy and content as they danced the night away after having been so graciously taken care of by such a wonderful host and hostess.
Congratulations Paul and Dena! It is obvious that you share a beautiful love that is constantly enriched by your creativity and excitement for life and the many things-big and small-that it has to offer. We wish you all the happiness in the world as you continue your journey together!
