After much anticipation, Kenny and Veronica will be celebrating their wedding day next month!
After having met in high school, and officially becoming girlfriend/boyfriend on Feb 21, 2011-they both went on to Fresno State University where they each earned their Bachelor's degree. After that accomplishment, they went to graduate school in San Diego (or as Veronica says-Kenny followed her to San Diego) for two years, and then Veronica went back to Fresno while Kenny stayed in San Diego to work.
While they both looked remiss and stressed to remember their time apart, Veronica says it was worse for her as she had to pass her state board exam-after not even having seen Kenny for more than a month. He must have felt just as sad about it, and realized that he didn't want to live without her, because that Sunday after, he surprised her with his proposal during a family trip to San Francisco!
His plan was utterly romantic as he had conspired with her mom and others to get Veronica to come to Coolbrith Park at sunrise on Sept. 24th, 2017. She had no idea...until she saw him dressed from head to toe...looking fantastic in a suit-and here she was-off guard in running clothes since the only way mom could get her there at sunrise with no questions was to convince her to take an early morning run....
We decided to meet up where it had all taken place to let these two romantics remember that special day and to love one another-as they were filled with excitement for their wedding day!
It was peaceful, pretty, and cloudy as the two cuddled up and giggled as they adored each other. You could definitely feel the magic as they looked into each others eyes.
And still in love just as much, if not more...Veronica said yes all over again!
We are super excited to celebrate with these two on May 10, 2019, as they complete another piece to their story. They will be the King and Queen of their castle after being pronounced husband and wife, and we are sure that their family and friends cannot wait to enjoy the celebration with them!
Congratulations to you both Veronica and Kenny! We're so happy that you two found each other and have been able to stay together through so many changes. We can't wait until the wedding when the two of you become one! #051019!
