It was a gorgeous day and the excitement could be felt as we entered the Citizen Hotel and met up with Kao and the guys as they were getting ready for the big day! Kao was pretty calm, and the guys were looking good and ready to go!
Meanwhile, just a couple floors away, Lucy and the ladies were finishing their final touches on makeup and hair, only minutes away from helping Lucy into the beautiful dress she selected at David's Bridal.
Glammed up and ready to go, everybody made their way toward the Elk's Tower for the ceremony and of course to celebrate!
As a wonderful gift from her brother, Mario, Lucy rode in style as she was escorted by horse drawn carriage through the city streets. As heads turned and passersby yelled shouts of 'congratulations' to the bride, the carriage made it's way to the grand entrance of the tower, and Lucy was whisked inside!
The ceremony was officiated by Mario as well. Once the bridal party made their way to the front of the room, Lucy made her grand entrance! As she slowly walked toward her groom, Kao stood as if stunned by her beauty as he repeatedly said "WOW" while his beautiful bride came toward him.
As their hands found each other, and their eyes met, they stood before family and friends and gave their vows, their rings, and of course their kisses! Mario declared the pair husband and wife to applause and cheers! Kao and Lucy could not have looked happier than they did in that moment!
Of course after the ceremony, we had some fun with the bridal party-who had the special honor of being the first guests in line to wish the happy couple congratulations!
Dinner was an extravaganza catered by Leo's Kitchen and even more impressive, there were whole roasted pigs for the feast! The food was aplenty, the drinks were delicious, and there was lots of entertainment. From the playful garter belt toss from Kao, to the bouquet toss from Lucy, to delicious cake from Karen's Bakery, and of course lots of music and dancing, the wedding was fantastic! Fun was had by all, and the endearing words shared by both families made if obvious just how much these two are cared about and how happy both sides of the family were to be celebrating this joyous occasion!
Congratulations to Kao and Lucy! We wish them so much joy and happiness as they continue to walk this life together-only now as husband and wife! May they live happily ever after!
