After almost a year long engagement, Jen and Barry celebrated their wedding day! It was beautiful weather, and the two were surrounded by so many family and friends that had come from near and far, and all chapters of their lives to witness the two say their vows and proclaim their love for one another on their most special day.
With so many ladies in the room to help the bride to be, Jen was definitely in good hands as she put on her beautiful gown from Flares in Walnut Creek, followed by her veil, and a blinged out pair of Converse! She was absolutely stunning.
Getting ready in a room nearby, the guys were having too much fun putting on the final touches and sporting their gifts from the generous groom. Barry's adorable son was also there to share in the fun, and looked legit with his suitcase in tow, showing off his most important role.
With everybody dressed and ready to go, it was time for the ceremony. As the bridal party made their way down the aisle, all eyes were eagerly anticipating and waiting for the beautiful bride to emerge from the doorway-into the gorgeous outdoor setting where her groom awaited. Although the distance of the walk was not far, it probably felt like forever to a bride.
As she was given away by her father, Barry took his brides hand, and the two stood before everybody, nervous and filled with love, as they said their vows, exchanged rings, and of course sealed the deal with a kiss.
With the formalities out of the way, and newlyweds to celebrate, we had some fun with the bridal party!
As much fun as they had taking photos, seemed like they were even more eager to get to the reception! As evening began to set in, dinner was served, toasts were given, and the dance floor was open.
Perhaps the most endearing moment came when Barry and his mother were sharing their Mother/Son dance, and welcomed grandma to the dance floor as well. The crowd fell silent as they watched through blurry eyes and smiles.
A huge congratulations to such a wonderful couple! We wish them so much happiness and success as they venture through this life together. Judging from the amount of friends and family that joined them on their day, we know we are not the only ones that will be rooting them on!
