While we have met some couples that have come together after having set up dating profiles and meeting one another online, and Jamie and Colin did meet online...their story is a little bit different.
With both being gamers, looking for love wasn't their motive. But back in 2009, they just happened to find each other and started chatting as they played Darkfall online.
The conversation and gameplay must have been good, because in 2011, they actually planned to meet in person!
As Jamie recalled the story of when she decided to meet up with Colin, she still seemed giddy with excitement at remembering their first in person encounter.
Soon after, in 2012, Jamie took a job in Colin's town and the two became so close, that here we are today!
She had even more excitement and anticipation today though, as she was ready to share a first look with Colin. Surrounded by her best friend, Colin's sister, and her parents, she seemed more excited than nervous!
Meanwhile, Colin was downstairs with Jamie's brother and his best friend awaiting his bride...and he may have been the one with the nerves...
But as the two came together for their first look, the jittery excitement and nerves seemed to melt away, and all we could see was genuine love and adoration that these two had for one another.
As the guests finished finding their seats, the wedding party, complete with bride and groom were lined up and ready to emerge from the charming barn doors at the River Highlands Ranch.
As Colin stood awaiting his bride, one by one, the bridal party made their way down the aisle.
Everybody was anxious until the moment Jamie appeared through the doors, escorted by her father. The two slowly began the walk toward Jamie's groom as guests stood, smiled, and some even clapped with excitement to see the beautiful bride.
The ceremony was short but sweet, and before the two knew it, they were proclaimed husband and wife!
With so many wonderful friends and family from near and far having come to celebrate the day, the evening was truly one of excitement and fun!
The dinner catered by Authentic Street Taco was delicious and guests couldn't have been happier with the food!
The toast by Jamie's father was heartfelt, yet charming and humorous all at once.
And once the newlyweds shared their adorably romantic first dance, followed by the traditional father/daughter and mother/son dance, the dance floor wasn't empty the rest of the night!
With beer pong, a late night dessert and snack table that stayed stocked, and an outdoor firepit complete with smores, these two really know how to put on a party!
Jamie and Colin, we wish you all of the adventure that you can fit into your story as you continue to share your lives together!
