To think how excited Howard and Kimiko were about their wedding day when we first met them during their engagement session in San Francisco in May; and now the day was here!
As the day began to unfold at the Serrano Country Club in El Dorado Hills, the room that Kimiko was getting ready in was filled with food, fun and laughter. Surrounded by a Maid of Honor, 8 Bridesmaids, her mom, and her niece as the flower girl-makeup and hair was finishing up, and it was just about time to put on the gorgeous dress she had 'said yes' to at Miosa Bridal!
Meanwhile, Howard was also surrounded by his Best Man, and 8 Groomsmen as they put on the final touches and tried to fight any nerves before going down the aisle.
With everybody ready, the moment everyone was waiting for had arrived. It was time for the ceremony! Howard and Kimiko hadn't shared a first look, so the moment he would see her come down the aisle would be his first! The anticipation had built, and the procession began...
As dad began walking Kimiko down the aisle, he was overcome with emotion and couldn't contain his tears.
And with that, for the first time ever-Mr. and Mrs. West!!!
And everybody was happy for the newly married couple. Especially the bridal party!
With the ceremony over, there was a party to be had! The reception was beautiful! Gorgeous flowers everywhere, delicious food, and an amazing DJ and emcee made everything complete.
Howard and Kimiko had a large guest list. With over 200 guests in attendance, it was clear to see that this couple is well-loved. The thing that stands out most though, was how gracious this couple was to each and every guest.
The evening was spent greeting and thanking guests individually throughout the room. Kimiko has such an amazing spark and it was easy to see that she had a special connection with each and every person there.
And Howard carried himself with such a humble confidence, it was awesome to watch him as he made sure everybody was having a wonderful time and felt well-taken care of.
Although the reception was classy, perhaps the classiest was The West couple!
Congratulations to such an amazing couple. We wish them love, joy and happiness as they embark on their new marriage with fresh eyes and excitement. They definitely seem to enjoy being with each other-so we know that they will have a blast as husband and wife. After all, what could be better than a never-ending sleepover with your best friend...
