Ganesh and Melissa were married before dearest family and friends on a gorgeous, sunny day. Melissa readied herself in the adorable log cabin at The Monk Ranch. She was joined by her best friend, and her mother, who had traveled a long way-from Australia-to join Melissa on this special day. Just as Ganesh arrived, the guests were delivered by bus, so they could come to the party and enjoy!
Stunning in her beautiful dress by Marchesa Notte, Melissa came from the cabin to share a first look with Ganesh, who was eagerly waiting at the end of the small dirt trail that led toward the ceremony. His look said it all as he saw her, and their nerves visibly eased as they talked quietly and held each other just before they were to walk down the aisle and say their 'I dos'.
With everybody in their seats, it was time to say their vows and proclaim their love for each other. They exchanged rings and a kiss, as they were pronounced husband and wife to claps, cheers, smiles, and tears.
At the reception, everybody shared delicious food, cocktails, and lots of dancing. Just before the dancing though, the couple was celebrated and adored as a few of their closest friends and family shared a toast.
Ganesh's father recalled conversations he had had with his mother about Ganesh that involved their dreams for him, yet ultimately realizing that Ganesh had his own ideas, and most importantly, they only wanted his happiness and it was up to their son to fulfill his dreams.
Their Best Man and Maid of Honor, respectively shared small stories and memories about each of them, and then about them as a couple, as they began their adventure that now led them to their wedding day.
Perhaps the most endearing speech though, came from Melissa's dad, as he reveled in the fact that his sweet, beautiful daughter had found the man of her dreams and the amazingness of the reality that she had come from Australia, while Ganesh had come from India, and they were now getting married in the United States of America, surrounded by friends and family from three different continents.
As the speeches concluded, Melissa and Ganesh joined each other on the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife. They admiringly danced in each others arms to the tune of Lauv's 'I Like Me Better'. The sun had set, but the night was only just beginning as they finished their dance and made way for everybody to dance the night away. It was definitely a celebration!
Congratulations to such an amazing couple. When they set up their dating profiles those years ago, bet they didn't expect for things to turn out like this! You just never know where life will take you...and for them, this is only the beginning!
