Derek and Brandy met online, and after almost two years of dating, in May 2016, Derek asked Brandy to be his bride. She happily said yes, and said yes again on their wedding day, as they both exchanged vows and said 'I do' before family and friends in Micke Grove Regional Park-Lodi.
Leading up to the ceremony, there were a few nerves, and lots of excitement, as they each got ready with the help of the Best Man and of course, Maid of Honor.
Brandy arrived in style in a beautiful white stretch limousine, where she was greeted by her father, as she walked out onto a freshly unrolled red carpet.
Derek was anxiously awaiting his bride-to-be at the end of the aisle. It was only a matter of minutes before she would be right next to him...
The ceremony was short and sweet as the two exchanged vows and rings. Brandys vows were absolutely adorable, as she vowed to love Derek and be his wife "until they both kick the bucket." Love it!
After being announced for the first time as Mr. and Mrs. Porter, their smiles and looks of elation say it all!!!
During the reception, friends and family enjoyed delicious tacos, drinks, and most importantly, the newlyweds! Of course everybody loves the shoe game-and guests had fun anticipating the answers. And what's a reception without the joy of passing on marriage inspiration to other hopeful singles? Brandy and Derek did just that with the bouquet and garter belt toss.
Toasts, dances, and cake completed the evening. The two looked so in love and happy as they enjoyed their celebration.
As the sun set, Mr. and Mrs. Porter finished their first day together as man and wife.
