Once upon a time, as Vanessa was having second thoughts about having an online dating profile-she decided to log in and delete it. But as she did, she noticed a message, and read it. It was from Joseph-and although she didn't share details about the contents-he must have said enough to earn himself a reply-because four years later, on June 4th, 2022, family and friends gathered to see Joseph and Vanessa become Mr. and Mrs. Greene!
They planned for an early afternoon wedding, and with a forecast of light rain, weren't sure what to expect. Joseph arrived first, and as he awaited Vanessa's arrival, we could see his nerves starting to show.
Joseph began to get even more anxious as time was ticking and his bride was running late. But he kept his cool and continued to visit with family until he caught word that Vanessa was arriving. As we saw the relief in his face, he made himself out of sight as she pulled up. But dad was waiting right there for a first look and definitely looked proud as he pulled his hand away from his eyes and his daughter appeared dressed in white, and adorned with a beautiful, long, flowing veil.
Mom was also nearby to give her daughter some well wishes and last bits of advice before Vanessa walked down the aisle to her eagerly awaiting groom.
With the clouds building up, and everyone taking their seats, it was time for a wedding! Joseph was definitely excited as he stood at the end of the aisle trying to catch the first glimpse of Vanessa as she emerged. And just as she made her way down the aisle, light rain began. It was beautiful! And like they say: rain on a wedding day symbolizes blessings, cleansing, and unity. Absolutely perfect!!!
They could not have been happier! After their four years of dating, all of the time spent together gaming, and binge watching, and being together day and night through quarantine-they were finally married! Their two hearts became one that day, and for every day thereafter.
Of course everyone wanted to feel the magic and couldn't wait to have their photo taken with the newlyweds!
...and even more exciting-everyone was ready to celebrate!!!
