As we promised back in August, when we celebrated Evangelina and Fernando's engagement, it wasn't a long wait until their wedding day! Months passed, and before we knew it, these two said their 'I do's' at the beautiful Arden Hills, in Fair Oaks.
Evangelina was glowing as she prepared herself to walk down the aisle. Her dress was elegant and classic as she and her sister-along with the bridesmaids-admired it just before helping her put it on. The trio of flower girls giggled and twirled through the room, as ladies finished hair and makeup.
Bouquets arrived, and Evangelina's nerves were in full effect with the anticipation of her first look with her groom to be-Fernando.
Meanwhile, Fernando was also readying himself for the first look. With his best man there to put on the finishing touches, they kept it cool for the camera.
When we first talked about their schedule for their wedding day, Evangelina expressed that she wanted Fernando's first peek of her to be as she came down the aisle. In talking though, the closer we got to the wedding day, they thought it would be more fun to have a first look before the ceremony.
With the two fully dressed and ready to go, and as everybody watched from behind the scenes with excitement and curiosity, the two came together as one for just a brief moment.
After the two admired each other and shared a few words, the nerves left for just a bit. Their gorgeous bridal party was also ready for the ceremony, so now, it was time for a wedding!
The 6:00pm ceremony was short but sweet. During special readings from family and friends, a lasso ceremony to signify two becoming one, and a brief coin ceremony, the two stood before friends and family as if they were the only two people in the world.
And for the first time ever, Mr. and Mrs. Navarro were announced! What a beautifully happy moment of pure bliss! There were congratulations all around, but more importantly, the newlyweds were ushered into their reception, where they were greeted and adored by so many friends and family! What a celebration it was!
When Evangelina had brought the props for their engagement session, one of them was a banner that read 'Finally'. There were so many people in that room, that we could only conclude that they were all certainly happy that this happy couple had 'finally' become husband and wife!
It was a true celebration, that went late into the night, but unfortunately, like all good things-had to come to an end. Good news though: Fernando and Evangelina are only just beginning-as they will spend their lives together creating more fun, and more parties, and more adventures wherever life may take them. Congratulations to such a beautiful, fun, and well-loved couple! May you live happily, ever, after!
