After knowing each other for 12 years, and being together for 8, Justin and Hannah are now Mr. and Mrs. Jolliffe. The weather was beautiful, and as Hannah was getting ready, she had lots of support from her mom, mother-in-law, sister and friends. The excitement and nerves were building as she was getting glammed up in anticipation of walking down the aisle to 'wow' her groom!
It's always fun to watch a bride prepare for her wedding day...it never fails-that no matter how long the two have known each other-when leading up to the ceremony-unexplainably-there are always still nerves!
Hannah was no exception-but to contain her nerves, the ladies kept her busy with make-up and hair, just before heading to the venue.
Upon reaching the venue, the girls quickly huddled Hannah inside so there were no sightings of the bride-to-be! Soon enough, they were helping her into her dress...
Just across the way, the guys were tucked away in a different room as they were putting on their finishing touches!
Once the guys were ready, perhaps our favorite moment was when Justin's dad really took a minute to look at his son, and really thought about the events of the day, and what was to come. As they stood there, dad became overcome, and the emotion that could be felt between father and son was so pure and beautiful in that fleeting moment.
With Hannah ready, and now Justin, although they didn't want to have a first look before seeing each other down the aisle, they did want to have one small tease and final exchange of 'i love yous' as their last minutes as boyfriend and girlfriend.
And with that, it was time for the wedding to begin! With Hannah's brother there to officiate, and her mother to walk her down the aisle, the bride was ready to be given away to her groom!
As the nerves were no more, it was time for us to take the bride and groom out for their first moments alone!
As their beautiful wedding day was coming to an end, the night was only beginning! With all of their friends and family back at the reception hall waiting, they were ready to party! We headed back, and Hannah and Justin truly enjoyed themselves as they dined, shared laughs and tears during toasts given by their dearest loved ones, and danced the night away.
What a fun day, and fantastic moment in life for these two! We wish them love and happiness for the rest of their days. They have truly taken their long-running friendship to the next level! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Jolliffe!
Just as there is nothing like that moment when you share your first sunset as man and wife-may you continue your wonderful journey together with every sunset, and every sunrise!
