In only a few short months, Ruben will be able to call himself a graduated member of the class of 2018! Most seniors are initially excited to be taking photos, but still a bit shy to be in front of the camera. Ruben was no exception. Kinda quiet, and somewhat shy, but definitely an integral part of his family. We could tell this the minute we saw that his parents and little sisters had all set aside the day to follow Ruben during his session as he modeled for the camera.
As he began moving around, and switching his poses, he really started to relax and ease into his role behind the camera. But nothing could beat the comfort that he felt when he got to hold his guitar.
Or the laughs we got from him when his sisters jumped, laughed and danced silly dances behind the camera-all in an effort to get their older brother Ruben to give a 'real smile.'
He mentioned that he had a recent show and loves playing for people. He graced us with a quick strumming of 'Pure Imagination' from Willy Wonka. It was awesome!
As the sun was leaving, and just before our time was up, we of course had to get a quick photo of Ruben at the iconic Tower Bridge. We figured it was only fitting to celebrate his accomplishments before a backdrop of something so grand and well-recognized.
We wish you all the happiness and success that life has to offer. And just as the lyrics of 'Pure Imagination' say:
'If you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to, do it
Want to change the world?
There's nothing to it'
Congratulations Ruben, as you graduate with the class of 2018! You did it!
